The Jesus Way: Doing the Stuff

Pastor Jeff and Cheryl Orluck

Pastor Jeff: The title of our message today is Doing the stuff. Doing the stuff. Do you all know where that came from? Anybody, anybody? One of my heroes of the faith, a contemporary hero of the faith is John Wimber. Some of you may have heard of him, some of you may not. He was the founder of the Vineyard Church, and he was someone who, for years, moved in powerful demonstrations of miracles and healing in a way different from the faith healers of the fifties and sixties.

John Wimber was a member of the Righteous Brothers. He was a rock and roller drug addict, just like everybody else in his band and all his friends. He and his wife both met Jesus and his entire life was changed. He started going to a church and he started bringing all his drug buddies to the church. And people, all his friends were meeting Jesus and coming to know Jesus. But after a few months, you know, he had been reading his Bible, he was doing bible studies, going to Bible studies, and so church was over and he walked up to his pastor one day and he said, "So pastor, when do we get to start doing the stuff?" The pastor looked at me and said, "Stuff?" "What do you mean? What's stuff?" And he said, "Well, you know, the things Jesus said, you know, like, raise the dead, cast out demons, heal the sick. That stuff. When do we get to start doing that stuff?"

I think that church didn't necessarily believe in that stuff, and so the pastor didn't have a good answer. But that was the hunger that John carried, that launched him into his worldwide ministry and later resulted in the formation of the church, the Vineyard. Both Cheryl and I think many of us, those of us who participated in the day of prayer last Sunday, were really, really inspired by what God was doing on that day, and most of us got in for the first hour and couldn't leave. We were together for about six hours, just be with the Lord.

But Cheryl and I got to start the day out and our prayer topic was releasing the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And then Tina followed us. She was teaching on how to thrive in adversity, and for 15 minutes she just read scripture after scripture after scripture that told us who we are in Christ and who he is in our lives. And it was really, really meaningful and powerful for us. I looked at Cheryl, we had a different topic for this message, and I said, "Cheryl, we gotta change our message because God wants to release the gifts of the Holy Spirit and he wants us to start doing the stuff."

Cheryl: I think it's a cry in a lot of our hearts, when do we get to do the stuff? And this is the ground where we practice with each other. I mean, that's what church is. We dare to pray for each other in the areas of need and see what God does.

Pastor Jeff: Amen. We are gonna start with Mark chapter 16 verses 15 to 18. Why don't you read that Cheryl, and then we'll go from there.

Cheryl: And he said to them, as you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race. Whoever believes the good news and is baptized will be saved. And whoever does not believe the good news will be condemned. And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe, they will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues, they'll be supernaturally protected from snakes and from anything poisonous, they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.

Pastor Jeff: Jesus said, these are the miraculous signs that will follow those who believe. Anybody here believe? So you qualify for this. This is for you. It's for all of us. It's not for the super giants, it's not for the faith healers, it's not for the people that you see on tv. I mean, it's not that it's not for them, but it's not only for them. It's not only for the 12 apostles and it died out when they died. It is for the believers. He said, this is what follows those who believe. That's you and me. Jesus has called us to a supernatural life.

We live in the world just like everybody else. We eat like everybody else. We play like everybody else. We live and we die. We have struggles. We have financial issues. We try to make our businesses work. All of that is like everybody else. And yet in the middle of our daily lives that we live like all the rest of the world, we live also in a supernatural realm. And calling that makes us totally distinctive from those who don't yet believe. And we carry something not just for us, but we carry something to impart to the world around us, to our neighbors, our work associates, our family, and to the nations. This is something that is real and it's something that is very important for us to understand as children of God. Just a couple scriptures to give you a sense of what it is, this supernatural calling that he is given us. And that would be Ephesians. We are gonna start with the Ephesians 1: 19 and 20.

Cheryl: I also pray that you'll understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe in him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms.

Pastor Jeff: And then we have Ephesians 2, verse 6.

Cheryl: For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us, us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.

Pastor Jeff: So Paul is saying, I'm praying that you'll understand the power that God has made available to you as a believer. I want you to understand this power, what it really is. It's the power that raised Jesus from the dead. How much power does it take to raise somebody from the dead? Anybody ever done it?

Cheryl: I tried.

Pastor Jeff: Yeah. Some of us have tried, some people have successfully done it. Jesus did. It didn't seem to be a problem for him. And that power that raises somebody from the dead, the power that raised Jesus from the dead, actually is available to us as his believers. Not only that, but the power that raised Jesus from the dead raised you and I from the dead. Now in that context, we were dead in our sins, but we were spiritually dead. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead raised us from the dead, and we came out of sin into life. Excuse me. So sorry. I started coughing a little more the last few days just in time for this.

It's interesting that Jesus was raised from the dead and he was taken to heaven and he was seated in heaven. Boy, that's loud. Can y'all hear me?

Cheryl: I mean, what is it?

Pastor Jeff: Yeah, something's not working right there. Oh, well it's a noisy fan, but it'll turn off eventually. He was raised from the dead and he was seated next to the father in heaven. But not only that, he raised us from the dead and he seated us next to him in heaven. He is in heaven. We are in heaven. He is in us. We are in him. This is not a metaphor. It's not just metaphoric that we are seated in heaven. It's not just so that you can picture yourself in heaven. It's not so just that you can-- you know, we teach a lot, just think what life looks like when you are looking down on it. That's a really great motivation for us when we are in the middle of our troubles, to remove ourselves from the trouble, get above our troubles, and look down to it the way God does and see it from God's perspective. But it's more than that being seated in the heavens is actually being seated in the heavens. We live in a heavenly realm. Wow. This is happening right now. I think we should turn off the heat. Maybe Pat's working on that. What's that? It should be shutting off. Yes.

Cheryl: Okay. Sometimes I think about where I'm seated, like, like I'm seated in heaven and this is what I do. I'm like, okay, I'm seated in heaven and I try to stop and just be quiet with the Lord and picture myself in heaven because that's what it says. I just like to do that to see if I can just be there, be in that place, realize that's where I'm at. And it's because I believe it. I believe that's where I'm seated.

Pastor Jeff: Wow. Okay. I'm a little bit distracted here. Sorry about that. Let's go on to Colossian ins chapter 1, verse 25 to 27. Ah, thank the Lord.

Cheryl: God has given me the responsibility of serving his church by proclaiming his entire message to you. This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God's people. For God wanted them to know the riches and the glory of Christ are for you Gentiles too. And this is the secret. Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

Pastor Jeff: This is the secret. Here's the secret. Christ lives in you. The Messiah lives in you. With the very power of the resurrection, he lives in you. And because he's in you, you get to share his glory. We are going to see another scripture in a second that talks about that. When we are talking about sharing his glory, we are not talking about getting all the praise of the nations like he does. When we talk about sharing his glory, we are talking about sharing in his power and all the results of that power in touching the lives of people around the world. We as his believers live with him inside of us. We live with his power inside of us, and we get to touch lives.

There is nothing that I've ever experienced in my entire life, nothing that compares to being able to touch a life with the love and power of Jesus. Anybody experience that? I'll give up anything to be able to be touching lives and watch them change because of the goodness of God. There is just nothing like that. There is nothing like having young believers in your midst. There is nothing like being able to teach brand new believers about the good things of God. There is nothing like that. This is what we want to be a normal part of our lives, normal every day because Jesus called us to a supernatural life.

When we live in that realm of the supernatural, when we understand that his power works in us and through us, when we understand that we live in heaven, and heaven lives in us, then we get to live a whole different level of life than just being better people because now we are Christians. Nothing bad about being better people, but he's got so much more than that. Just being better People can get a little boring after a while.

We can start to wonder why we are missing all the fun. Not fun at all, but we forget, we kind of get like the Egyptians sometimes. We want to go back, get that good food in Egypt. It wasn't good at all. Nothing was good about your slave life in Egypt. But sometimes you lose track of the destiny that you have because we forget that we are a supernatural people living a supernatural life. It's not so beyond us that we live in heaven because the kingdom of heaven-- Jesus said, repent for the kingdom of heaven is near. He didn't mean it's coming soon. He meant it's near, it's close to you. He came with the kingdom.

I'm telling you, the spiritual realm is right here. You live in it and you access his power with just a short reach. Sometimes I can picture, I picture a veil. There is me and there is this little invisible veil, and then there is the kingdom, and I can just reach through and I'm in the kingdom. Pull it in; step into it. It's something that's there for all of us. It's real for all of us. We are seated in heaven. We can live from that place or not. But Jesus calls us to live there. He calls us to a realm and a life that is supernatural.

Cheryl: I like Acts 17:28. For in Him we live and move and have our being.

Pastor Jeff: Amen. Well, let's look at John 14. This is about sharing in his glory.

Cheryl: Just believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me, or at least believe because of the work that you've seen me do. I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done and even greater works because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask anything in my name, and I will do it so that the son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.

Pastor Jeff: That's pretty outlandish. Ask me anything in my name and I will do it so that the son can bring glory to the Father. You get to have a part, we all get to have a part in bringing glory to the Father. We get to share in the glory of God. We get to be part of bringing glory to him. How do we do that? We do the works that Jesus did. We do greater works than Jesus did. It's hard to imagine that. I mean, he fed 15,000 people twice with the boys' lunch. I don't know what's greater than that. He walked on water, he calmed a storm. I'm not quite sure what's greater than that.

The thing is, when Jesus said this, it almost is like he believed it would be normal for us. You understand? It wasn't a big thing for him to say that to his disciples. He wasn't giving anything up. He wasn't threatened. He was offering them a whole other level of existence. That's us. He's calling us to another level of existence where we get to walk in the works that he walked in. We get to walk in the love that he walked in, and we get to walk in the ministry of life that he walked in. And that means praying for someone who gets healed, praying for someone who gets raised from the dead, healing lepers, casting out demons. Demons are strange in America. You don't usually see them in other nations. They are really very plain and evident and real. I've enjoyed my share of casting out demons when I go on missions trips. It's quite fun actually.

Cheryl: We do have power over them.

Pastor Jeff: We do. Sometimes, we have a struggle in America determining if it's a demon or not. We have such rational minds. But that's okay, we get to partner with the Holy Spirit in everything that we do. He's the one that helps us know how to pray, what to do. He's very creative.

Cheryl: When we do it, we are being obedient. It's God who does what you are asking for. It's him who does it, but he needs our words. Our words are powerful.

Pastor Jeff: Yeah. It's interesting. In Isaiah 9:7, it says, of the greatness of his government and of peace, there will be no end. In the New American Standard, it says, of the increase of his government, there will be no end. It's like his government, his reign will continue to grow and grow and grow. It will never stop growing. Why is that? Well, one reason is because all of his believers are going to do the things that he did. All the more lives are going to get changed because of his believers. All the more people are going to come to know him and they are going to enter into his kingdom.

We get to be part of the increase of his government. It continues to increase and grow because his believers are living supernatural lives, bringing the supernatural Jesus into the lives of those that don't know Him Yet. We get to do it by speaking the good news. And then the signs, as it says in one of the gospels, with signs following.

What happened in the New Testament was what happened in Jesus day and in the Apostles day, what happens on in mission fields and what happens in our lives is that the words that we speak about Jesus that are kind of foolish or unfathomable to others around us, are confirmed when they get healed of their diseases. Oh, maybe what you said is true. I just experienced the power of God. Or when you get a word of knowledge for somebody and you are able to speak to them things about their lives that nobody else knows but God and you are able to convey to them that God knows them and that he cares about them and they can't deny it. They realize he really does know me. You just told me something that you didn't know anything about. How did you know it? Because you are living in a supernatural realm. You are in communion with the Holy Spirit.

One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is a word of knowledge. It's a prophetic gift. It enables you to see into the lives of other people. Don't worry. No one's going to look at you and read all your mail and know all the evil things that you did your whole life. That's not how it works. But the Holy Spirit, in the right moment, at the right time, gives vignettes of understanding into the hearts of the people that you are with. With those vignettes, you can unlock their hearts to believe in Jesus. It's supernatural. It's not something you do on your own. It's something you do because Jesus lives in you. Something you do because of the Holy Spirit. In fact, let's read Acts 1 and we are just going to read verse 8. This is a powerful section of scripture, but 8 is really what we want to get at for now.

Cheryl: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses telling people about me everywhere in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Pastor Jeff: He probably said it to 500 people because that's who we understand that he actually preached to 500 people after he was raised from the dead. It was more than just the 12 that he said this to. He not only said it to the people that were standing with him on the Sea of Galilee that day. He says that to us. You'll receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. That is still available for his believers today. In the Pentecostal world, we call it the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It's a release of the Holy Spirit into our lives that comes with a new level of power.

What is the power for? Why does he give us this special release of His Holy Spirit for power? The power is so that you can drive out demons. The power is to speak in tongues. The power is to be supernaturally protected from poisonous snakes and drinking poison. The power is to lay hands on the sick and heal them. That's what you need the power for. Think about it. Jesus' ministry started when he was baptized by John in the Jordan River. When he was baptized, the heavens opened and a dove came down. Dove being a picture of the Holy Spirit, landed on Jesus' shoulder. Jesus received the anointing of the Holy Spirit on the day that he was baptized and it launched his ministry.

Then after Jesus was raised from the dead, he told his disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit. On the day of Pentecost, they were gathered in the temple and the Holy Spirit came and there was a rushing wind where they were all together and there were tongues of fire that fell on their heads and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. They went out and preached a sermon and 3000 people met Jesus in the very first sermon that Peter preached. A few days before that he had denied that he even knew Jesus. But he received power.

For all of those disciples who were in that upper room, it says there were 120 of them, not just the 12. 120 believers were in that room, and they all received power. It launched their ministry and they changed the world. Jesus, when he was launching his ministry, changed everything about the world. The disciples, when they were launching their ministry changed the entire known world. In 400 years, the official religion of the world was Christianity.

Not that that was always necessarily a good thing. Because from that day forward, Christianity and politics got mixed together, and that never resulted in something good. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, now we are in a season where we talk about, you can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. You can receive power. Guess what the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for. To launch you in your ministry. That will change the world. That's us. We carry something inside of us that is from God himself. It is a level of understanding. It is a grace. It is a love, and it is a power that can change the world. It will change the world around you. It will change your family and it will change your workplace.

When I was in high school, when I was a senior in high school, this is a little few years ago, just the other day. I just went to my 50th high school reunion last weekend. My senior year in high school, me and a buddy decided we going to evangelize the entire high school that year. We never did succeed in that.

Cheryl: What, 670?

Pastor Jeff: That was just the senior class. I had tried so hard to be an athlete when I was younger. I was a horrible athlete. But I found my niche when I was a senior and I was in every single school play. I took every drama class that they offered. My hangout place was the drama room with Mr. Cunningham. The two years before that, that I was in high school. I always attended the school plays. I thought they were pretty cool. But the whole drama department was dominated by freaks, drug users, rebels, creative rebels.

And then me and my friends got into drama in the senior year, and in the year I was in drama, the drama room was dominated by people who loved Jesus. It just happened and people met Jesus. And we got to pray for people, and we got to change. We got to influence our part of the world. That's what Jesus wants you to do at your workplace. And you don't have to make everybody awkward.

Cheryl: Don't do that.

Pastor Jeff: That's right. Or your neighborhood. But you do it by being you carrying Jesus inside of you, not being ashamed of the gospel, being bold enough to talk to people about how Jesus loves them. And if they've got a physical melody, offering to pray for them. Who knows? If your neighbor breaks his leg and you offer to pray for it, they might get healed.

Cheryl: Instantly.

Pastor Jeff: One of our favorite preachers said, "I can't tell you why. When I pray for people, some people get healed and some people don't." But he said, "I do know one thing. A lot more people will get healed if I pray for them, than if I don't. If someone is suffering in their lives, they've experienced a tragedy and you offer to pray for them, do you know that the grace of God can come to them in a way that they never knew before and carry them and reveal his love to them and their lives can change because of it?

When we talk about this grace that Jesus gives us, it's not just for physical healing, it's for spiritual healing and emotional healing. It's because that's who Jesus is. All he's looking for is somebody to carry him into the lives of others. Dare to believe that he would use you in a supernatural way to change the lives of the people around you. Dare to believe that, because that's exactly what he intends to do. I don't know. I can get excited about that. Anybody else?

Cheryl: You can live two ways. Not doing that and being nominal or living in the stepping out way, living to show people who he is, daring to step into that. I want to do this stuff.

Pastor Jeff: I do too. My spiritual father, I remember a message that he taught and he said, "You know, when I get to heaven, I want to be known for something more than just being a nice guy. It doesn't always work, but hopefully by loving Jesus, we become nice people. I mean, that would be a good thing. Probably better if you are a nice person before you start talking to people about Jesus than if you are not. It's good to let Jesus transform our hearts and change our attitudes and teach us how to love.

That all requires his anointing as well. We can't do any of that on our own. This is all beyond us. It's supernatural. That means it's beyond the natural. It's beyond what you can do. You are stepping into a realm of faith, and you are trusting Jesus to do something through you that you can't do. That's why we are so afraid. Because we can't control it. We have to take a risk.

I remember once I was in Ukraine, I took several missions trips to Ukraine, and I was invited to a church to speak. I was sitting there during worship with the translator, and I started to feel these pains in my body. And I thought, what in the world. I rebuke you, Satan. And then the Holy Spirit said, no, those are words of knowledge. And so I realized, okay, every pain represents somebody in this church that needs healing. I started to catalog the pains. I had seven pains in my body. And then I had to decide, okay, now am I going to get up there and say, who has pain in their lower right side of their mouth? What if I'm daydreaming? What if this isn't God? I'll look like a fool.

Cheryl: Oh no. How terrible.

Pastor Jeff: You stole my punchline. But at the same time, there is the other voice that says, but if this is from God and you don't do it, just think all the people that are going to miss out on their miracle. I wrestled with it as we wrapped up worship, and I finally came to the point, okay, Jesus, I will be a fool for you. I got up there and I said, the Lord has given me some words. I want to share them before we start the message. I said, somebody here has pain in their lower right teeth. Who would that be? I waited and I waited.

Cheryl: And this was a big crowd of people.

Pastor Jeff: And I waited and I waited and oh well. Finally, my translator says, oh, that's me. And that's where it started. And then we released all the words and people came forward and they all got touched by God. I had to dare to step out into something that I couldn't do. That's what living with Jesus, that's what being a Christian means. You are living a life that you cannot do yourself. You have to trust him to do it. And you are constantly taking risks. I'm not sure you ever get used to it.

But there is nothing that's nothing in life that is better than taking the risk and watching God show up. Nothing. That's how we want our lives to be. One last scripture. Luke 10, it's just one verse here, I think. The whole context is 7 to 18. This is where Jesus sent out his 72 disciples to go and do his works. He had trained him, and then he said, now go do it. This is what they said when they came back.

Cheryl: When the 72 disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name. Yes, he told them, I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning.

Pastor Jeff: I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning.

Cheryl: Like lightning. How fast does lightning fall? It is like there.

Pastor Jeff: Just like that. Just like that. In Ephesians 2:1, Satan is called the ruler of the kingdom of the air. He has pervasive influence over the nations of this world, over cultures of this world, over people's lives. He is a steeler. He is a destroyer. He's the father of lies, and he has power on the earth. It says he's the prince of the ruler of the air. But when God's people go out and do the stuff, he loses his place of power. He falls from his throne.

When we live a supernatural life, when we dare to trust him, to tell somebody about Jesus, or to pray for somebody who needs it, to extend love, where there is someone who is broken hearted, when we dare to be his children and live in that realm of heaven, we destroy, we diminish, we take down the power of hell. That's how you do it. You can stand in your prayer room and say, I rebuke you, devil all you want, but get out in the world and be a Christian. Be a believer. Be somebody who's releasing the goodness of God into the lives of others, and you'll watch Satan's power be broken. He cannot dominate this earth if Jesus' people are doing their stuff.

You are going to accomplish more by loving people and praying for them when the opportunity shows itself than you'll ever accomplish by being involved in the political realm. Way, way, way, way, way, way more. I guess that's it. Who wants to live this kind of life? If you want to-- I mean, I understand if you don't. I like sitting in front of my TV in the evening and just taking it easy. I'm 68. My dreamer doesn't have to keep working, does it? Sean? No. God gave me a dreamer. I can dream big dreams. I can dream of seeing miracles happen still today in this church, in our lives. That's what I want to dream for.

It's going to disrupt my life a little bit, but that's okay. That's okay. I’ve got neighbors who need to know that Jesus loves them. I got work associates who need to know that Jesus loves them. We have nations that need to hear that Jesus loves them. And we can go however he sends us with that message that Jesus loves them, and at the same time, release a power that will actually help them in the middle of their pain. How can we lose? Let's stand together. Let's stand together. Thank you, Jesus. If this stirs your heart, then just pray this with me.

My Lord Jesus, I want this life, I open my heart to you, holy Spirit. Fill me again. Launch me in my ministry. Restart my dreamer, and let me dream of your goodness, your healing and your mercy in the lives of those around me and teach me to dare to trust you, so that the ministry that I have will be launched and your kingdom will increase, and the power of our enemy will be broken.

This is my desire, Lord. I give myself to you for it. Lord, we give ourselves to you for it. We ask you to come and do something new and fresh in our lives. Stir our hearts. Make us bold. You are the one who changes lives. If you are watching livestream or even here today, you might be hearing something you've never heard before or you've never even actually known Jesus as your savior. But today is a good day to start. Today is a good day to say, Jesus, I need you. We all need to say that often. Jesus, I need you. Come and forgive me. Come and fill me with your love. Change my life. Make me yours. I want to live a supernatural life. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.

Before we end today, we want to just pray for some people who need healing, trusting that the Lord will show us. If any of you understand what a word of knowledge is, if any of you get an understanding from the Holy Spirit of somebody either watching online or hear that needs healing, just come up and let us know and we'll call that out. But I want to start. There are several people here that we want to pray for right from the get go.

Mark, where are you? Mark Jarris. I think he's in the back here. Mark is suffering with a pinched nerve in his back, and he needs healing. We are going to pray for him. DJ wrecked his knee at work and I believe God wants to heal his knee so he doesn't have to miss two weeks of work while he's convalescing. Somebody else that I greeted this morning.

TaQuaris, you got somebody? Robert's mom. Roberta. Patricia. Patricia. Yes. Thank you, Jesus. So I would like-- actually, Cheryl, can you go out, lay hands on DJ and then go back and lay hands on Mark? Would that be okay? Cheryl's going to come DJ and pray for you right now. If others want to gather around DJ, please do. And then Cheryl's going to come back, Mark, and she's going to lay hands on you too. If some people want to gather around Mark back there and begin to pray for his back, please do.

Jesus said, "If you ask me anything in my name, I'll do it for you." That's who. Yeah. Thank you. Ken Jr. We want to pray for Ken. There is no reason you have to live with that thread over your life, your whole life. We want some people to gather around Ken Jr over there. And we are going to release the power of the Holy Spirit in your life. We are going to trust him to heal you. And then Robert's mom, Patricia. Some of you can gather in a circle with TaQuaris. Just take hands and just agree together that God is going to step in and help her with this chemotherapy and bring her through it in a really good way.

Anybody else here actually need a miracle right now? Need a healing need? Need a breakthrough, Lee, you do. No? Anybody? If I'm not seeing you, shout at me. Ah, Bernie, did you raise your hand? Okay. We got Barb and Barb. We got the dynamic duo praying for you. That's good. Do they know what they are praying for? Okay. You don't have dementia. I rebuke that in Jesus' name. No, you are a powerful warrior in Christ and you are going to stay that.

Holy Spirit, we just release your grace right now. We thank you for your power. Thank you for touching DJ as Cheryl lays her hands on him. Thank you for doing his supernatural work in his body. Thank you for what you are doing for Mark right now. Thank you, Lord. We thank you Lord. Thank you, Lord.

Most of you don't know, Mark has a daughter named Amanda. We've been praying for her for many years, and God has really done miracle after miracle in her life as we prayed for her. It has been really, really exciting to see his love for her and how he ministers to her every time we ask him to. Jesus said, "If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. That the Father may be glorified. That's real. That's not pretend. He's not wishing. He said it would happen. We can dare to do it.

I see some of you gathering around Lynn and family. Yeah. It would be a perfect time to pray for Don's family. If some of you want to gather around them and just, we'll trust for the supernatural God to bring a supernatural comfort. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. So right now, Ken, I just released the Holy Spirit. I released the power of the Holy Spirit to move through your body. Right everything that's wrong. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. Just receive what he has. It's all there for you. We bless you, Ken. We bless you. We bless you. Bless you, father. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.

Shawn: I really appreciate it, Jeff and Cheryl honoring me today. But you know what I believe Hope Community Church needs the anointing of thinking big. I really feel a presence of the Lord for me to release that into our church this morning. We need to start thinking big because we have a big God. We have a big Jesus. If you receive that anointing to think big, not only your ministry, your family, your business, all the things that you touch in your life will change. And you say, well, Sean, you know, I don't have that same anointing as you. Yes, you do. You have the same anointing that God has placed in your heart to think big. Remember he said you can raise people from the dead. If that's not thinking big, I don't know what is.

So Father in the name of Jesus this morning, I want to release the anointing of thinking big into the Hope Community Church and every person on livestream and in this congregation, father. I release that in Jesus' name. I declare it. I thank you, Lord, that things are going to happen in the heavenlies right now. The breakthrough has come. And I thank you, Lord, that this will be a day we remember of thinking bigot hope. Community church. I thank you Lord, and I release it. And today is a new day. Every person in this congregation, my life, you will start to think big and dream big in Jesus' name. Amen.

Pastor Jeff: Thank you everybody. If you are still praying, you don't have to stop. We will have a prayer team up at the altar here right after the service, so that if anybody needs prayer for anything else, please come and get it. These people are faithful to be here every single week to take care of you and minister to you as you need it. And then Sean will be over here sharing communion with anybody that would like to take communion this morning. Let me just bless you. This is Pastor Brian's role, but I'll just step in quickly. You can lift your hands to the Lord.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. You may the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you his peace. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, go in peace. Go in power. Have a good week.
